Hub Town Tours joined the bustling tourism market in Boston, Massachusetts with one simple goal: to provide historical tours that are accurate, affordable, and engaging, above all others. In essence, we want to leave you wondering why your history teachers growing up never made history lessons quite so captivating. (And if those teachers did make it as fun, we salute you, fellow history buffs!) Each of our unique tour chapters is designed to emphasize the fascinating stories that abound in Boston, without sacrificing historical accuracy; to provide an private guided experience at a reasonable price point; and to deliver a cohesive narrative in an efficient and easily understandable fashion.
Our Founder and Lead Guide, Ted Clark, has worked up and down Boston's Freedom Trail® since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in U.S. History and Archaeology from Bowdoin College. From museum education and management roles at the Paul Revere House and Old South Meeting House historic sites, to interpreting Faneuil Hall, the Bunker Hill Monument and Museum, and the Charlestown Navy Yard while a United States Park Ranger working for the National Parks of Boston, Ted possesses a broad understanding of, and deep appreciation for, the complex history that Boston and its environs offer.
